Alpaca Fiesta aims to promote Alpaca Fiber across the global textile market by gathering breeders, businesses and institutions linked to the world of alpaca and South American camelids in festive and highly competitive ambience.
Alpaca fiesta includes activities from across the entire alpaca value chain divided into 5 core components:
Livestock Component: Vicuña Chaccu, National Alpaca and Llama Competitions, South American Camelid Exhibitions, Livestock Activations, Workshops.
Fashion Component: Fashion Shows in different categories.
Commercial Component: International and National Business Roundtable – Foreign Buyers and Peruvian Exhibitors, Textile Fair, Factory Visits.
Academic Component: Innovation and Sustainability Forum.
Cultural Component:Mystical activities and rediscovering of traditional Andean techniques and culture.

INTERNATIONAL ALPACA ASSOCIATION
The International Alpaca Association-IAA is a private non-profit organization, founded in 1984 in the city of Arequipa-Peru, with more than 39 years of institutional life.
The IAA aims to promote and protect the image of alpaca fiber and its derivatives in Peru and the world.
PROMPERÚ
The Commission for the Promotion of Peru for Exports and Tourism (PROMPERÚ) is an entity attached to the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism of Peru, which seeks to position Peru through the promotion of its image, tourist destinations and value-added export products, contributing to the sustainable and decentralized development of the country.
MINCETUR
The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) is the sector’s governing body in charge of defining, directing, coordinating, executing and supervising foreign trade and tourism policies in Peru.
